Ancient Greeks had a completely different approach to color than we do nowadays. Their take was more detailed orientated from an observation of reality, much more focused on the poetry and nuances of what surrounded them.

Based on the interpretation of the descriptions of some ancient Greek colors from the Iliad, I made a series of material color samples.

The result of my research is a material/color collage that expresses the meaning of the color according to Ancient Greek understanding.
